Wow, where has the time gone. Mr. Mason Thomas Jones just turned 3 months old this past week. He was born on December 10, 2009 at 4:59pm, weighing 7 lbs. 4 oz., and 21 inches long. He's a healthy bay boy! And Andy and I are VERY proud parents! Both Mason and I recovered well from delivery and the c-section! His first few weeks at home went very well. He even slept 5 hours one night the second week, scared us to death! We didn't know what to think when we woke up and saw the time of 2:30AM!! Yikes. My mom and dad were able to come down to see Mason when he arrived. My dad stayed for 4 days and my mom stayed for 2 weeks (thank heaven for Mom's - she saved my life - she cooked, cleaned, took the night shift with Mason if he was awake - she was purely amazing!). I had a total of 8.5 weeks off and enjoyed every minute of them. And so now I am back at work, working part time. I work Mondays, Wednesdays and half days on Thursdays. We have a lady that comes into the house to stay with Mason while I am at work. It is all going so well and I am truly loving my new role as a momma! It is endlessly rewarding. Nothing better than waking up at 5 am to Mason's smile and giggles (and dirty diaper)!

Mason is sleeping very well at night. He gets up 1 to 3 times per night to eat but falls right back asleep. Some nights I can't even get him to stay awake to finish eating (nor myself, sometimes I am a tired ol' mamma). Many nights I wake up 1 to 2 hours after our feeding time to find us both completely out, but still laying in the feeding position on the bed in his room! He is growing a mile a day!

Mason loves to go out on walks with mamma and sadie. And LOVES books, especially the one from Grandma Sandy called "Rumble in the Jungle". He laughs and smiles every time I read that book to him! It's great! He also loves "Llama Llama Red Pajama"!

We had an appointment today for more shots. He weighed in at 14 pounds and 12 ounces...he's a growing boy! We go next month for a well-baby check-up, which are more fun to see his progress. Today was a boring visit (well, not for Mr. Mason - shots are NO fun in his book, but he survived)!

Here are a few pictures of Mason over the past few months. This is just a glimpse of him, as momma has taken over 1,000 photos of him over the past 3 months. He literally has 2 full photo albums already! Here you go - hope you enjoy them!
